S.M. Sun Power Limited, established in 2009-10, is a professionally managed company dedicated to manufacturing various types and capacities of LPG cylinders. Located at B-4, Site-IV Industrial Area, Sahibabad -201010 (U.P.), our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility boasts a monthly production capacity of 150,000 LPG cylinders (1,800,000 cylinders annually).
We are proudly certified under the Gas Cylinder Rules, 2016 by the Petroleum Explosives and Safety Organization and hold Bureau of Indian Standards certification as per IS 3196 (Part 1). Additionally, our commitment to quality is affirmed by our ISO 9001:2015 certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards.
Over the years, we have supplied LPG cylinders ranging from 2 kg to 19 kg to major Oil Marketing PSUs including Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited. Our track record includes delivering over 2 million LPG cylinders to these PSUs in the past three financial years.
We are also recognized by the Sri Lanka Standards Institute for supplying 12.5 kg and 5 kg LPG cylinders to buyers in Sri Lanka. Our reach extends beyond India, with exports to Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, and various countries across Africa.

The company's manufacturing facility spans 2 acres and features advanced infrastructure designed to efficiently produce high-quality LPG cylinders that adhere to all technical, statutory, and regulatory requirements. Cutting-edge machinery, including state-of-the-art "twin-wire technology" for MIG welding, is employed to ensure precision and innovation in manufacturing processes. Each stage of production is monitored using IT-enabled systems, enhancing efficiency and facilitating seamless data retrieval while minimizing manual intervention. Furthermore, the company maintains comprehensive in-house testing facilities that comply with both Indian and international standards. These facilities are instrumental in evaluating the quality of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet specified standards and specifications.
The company has obtained all necessary statutory and regulatory approvals and consistently ensures compliance to maintain their validity and currency. These approvals include, but are not limited to:

Water Management and Pollution Control
The company recycles water used for washing, utilities, and cooling to minimize environmental impact. An Effluent Treatment Plant has been installed to reduce pollution, complemented by a central sludge disposal system. Sludge from various sources is directed to a twin-compartment sludge pond, each compartment capable of storing sludge for at least six months.
Rainwater Harvesting and Green Initiatives
Furthermore, six rainwater harvesting systems have been implemented across the factory compound to replenish groundwater aquifers. Extensive tree planting initiatives have been undertaken within and around the factory premises.
Hygienic Environment and Ventilation Systems
To maintain a hygienic environment conducive to human health, ventilation systems equipped with fans, air filters, air washers, cooling towers, air supply grills, dampers, and insulation systems have been installed. Natural ventilation is prioritized in buildings and shops, with mechanical ventilators provided where necessary.
Safety and Fire Prevention Measures
The company has implemented comprehensive safety and fire fighting measures to protect personnel, equipment, and machinery from fire hazards. Adequate numbers of portable fire extinguishers, distributed and selected according to IS 2190:1992 standards, are available in all plant units, office buildings, stores, and laboratories.
Personal Safety Equipment
Workers engaged in hazardous conditions are provided with appropriate personal safety equipment such as industrial safety boots, helmets, gloves, ear muffs, welder's screens, aprons, gas masks, respirators, and resuscitators.

Lastly, the company offers boarding, lodging, and medical care facilities within the factory premises, with all associated expenses covered by the company.
